Culinary Giant, Joel Robuchon, Dies from Cancer at age 73

The most Michelin starred chef in the world (he has garnered 31 throughout his career) has passed away. Named the "chef of the century" by the Gault et Millau cooking guide in 1990, Joel Robuchon has opened restaurants in cities including Paris, Monaco, Hong Kong, Las Vegas, Tokyo and Bangkok.

French daily Le Figaro said he died of cancer. He was 73 at the time.
