Burberry chief creative officer Christopher Bailey once again looked to the house’s heritage for his latest Prorsum outing. Celebrating the trench and sartorial elegance, Bailey infused the lineup with youth courtesy of bold prints and highly covetable accessories such as this season’s animal print sunglasses as well as the introduction of the Boston bag, featuring the house’s signature check. Contrasting charming heart covered knits against outerwear dressed in militaristic hues, the collection played soft against hard, perhaps best represented by coats, cut from leather in shades such as Windsor red.
