Dior’s new creative director, Raf Simons, is a formidable and original talent, says Mark Holgate, but it’s also his sense of family and generosity of spirit that make him the man of the house. “I see a lot of amazing clothes, but I don’t see a lot of emotion now,” says Raf Simons (here at Salon Dior in Paris), who hopes to bring back that element to fashion.
