Linde Wederlin Oktopus Moon - the colours of the harvest moon
By SENATUS Editor | 3 January 2023

The harvest moon, observed in orange, is considered to hold a special magic, as it rises around the same time as the sun sets and lights up the night skies well into the morning hours, affecting planting and growing, people’s emotions, and the ocean tides.

In a seasonal interpretation of the highly technical Oktopus family, made for divers and created for the Danish navy special forces, the Oktopus Moon features a five-layer skeletonised dial in bronze and gold satin finish hands.

An original in-house complication, the Moonphase, was developed over a decade ago, is a striking testament to the brand’s continued focus on diving and skiing, or the sea and the mountains.

Limited to 59 individually numbered pieces worldwide, signifying two moon phases.
