Daniel Wu Stars in Breitling's Cinema Squad
By SENATUS Magazine | 18 February 2019

Breitling's new advertising campaign leverages on a simple but powerful notion: the concept of a squad. Three-person groups whose members are all recognized masters in their respective professions. Rooted in the dynamic values of Breitling – action, purpose, and pioneering spirit – this concept focuses on the bond created between people brought together by a shared endeavor and common goal.

To personify glamour, Chinese actor Daniel Wu joins Brad Pitt and Charlize Theron in lending their presence to spread awareness of the brand in Asia. Born in America and now based in Hong Kong, Wu is an actor, director, and producer who, since his film debut in 1998, has been featured in over 60 films.

Since 2015, he has starred as Sunny in the popular AMC martial-arts drama series Into the Badlands, which he also produces. He has won numerous acting awards, and his directorial debut, The Heavenly Kings, earned him the Best New Director award at the Hong Kong Film Awards and the Chinese Film Media Awards.

He also now features in "The Last Supper" as the legendary Xiang Yu - a prominent warlord who lived in the late Qin dynasty - making its debut on Netflix now.
